Welcome,

I am Lebo and I am a mother of three children, two of them are adults and my last born is seven years old. I have always had an interest for nutrition and health which led me to my studies. I am a qualified Nutritional Therapist (registered with AHCP – Associations of Holistic and Complementary Practitioners).  I also have a BSc honours in Food, Nutrition and Health.

I have worked as a Community Nutritionist in the borough of Southwark, I have facilitated various workshops in the community and I was mostly drawn to the workshop on how to introduce solid foods to your baby. I worked closely with other health practitioners who worked with babies and I gained a lot of experience from my role working with families.  I am so happy to be here doing what I love at Happy Tiny Tummies years later after moving with the ups and downs of life.  Thank goodness I chose to keep it moving no matter how bad things got.

I started Happy Tiny Tummies because of the love and interest I have for infant nutrition especially when it comes to Introducing supplementary foods to your baby. I also wanted to create a more personal service for parents and provide the flexibility that would suite some families.  I have always loved cooking with fresh ingredients since I was very young and watching everything that my mother made. My mother was always experimenting with recipes and she was also very health conscious which I would say is where my love for cooking and nutrition started to develop.

I am excited and ready to share with you my knowledge, training and experiences of infant nutrition.  I hope you will enjoy the seasonal newsletters and monthly blogs. I’d love to hear your thoughts on them.

My main focus will be on infant nutrition and on Introducing your baby to solid foods safely, including high allergen foods.  It is important that valuable information is received, on the health benefits of introducing your baby to solid foods at the right time of the developmental stages. This is at the core of Happy Tiny Tummies.

“I feel that we can start educating our children early in having a taste for wholesome nutritious food, so that as they grow they have more wisdom of the food choices they make”
